Singer-Songwriter Chris Holden explains how “Butterside Up” was written “Over the last seven years of my life I have been riding the most unstable rollercoaster you could ever dream of. I have experienced the crazy highs and brutal lows of a musician’s life.

I have been endlessly blessed with amazing opportunities and stunning relationships. Although nothing lasts forever. This album follows my erratic and emotional journey from a young jack the lad who would spend his last five on a pint to the wiser man I am today. These are the most honest lyrics I have ever written, and I have not held back any harsh truths about myself.”
